Your countdown inputs

Countdown calculations run in your browser. Tickspace does not maintain a database of the event names, dates of birth, or target ages you enter. The life tool does not put your birth date in a shareable URL.

Shared links

Creating an event countdown puts its name, date, time-zone choice, and theme in the page URL. These details are visible to anyone with the link. URLs can also be retained in browser history, hosting request logs, and services through which you share them. Do not include confidential information in an event name.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The countdown application currently sets no tracking cookies, uses no analytics service, and loads no advertising scripts. Labeled advertising areas are reserved spaces. The service hosting this site may process technical requests or use essential access cookies independently of the countdown application.

Technical information

Delivering a website involves network information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. The hosting provider may process this information for delivery, security, and service operation.

Your choices

Use an event name you are comfortable sharing. You can clear URLs from your own browser history. There is no central saved-countdown account to delete. Removing a URL from your browser does not remove copies someone else has received.
